Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports Picking the Pac is dead. Long live picking the Pac. With no more Pac-12, our weekly ATS picks post will take a slightly different form. With 18 teams in the conference, weekly picks would not be particularly fun to read, let alone write. Instead, I will pick the UW game, as well as the top five other Big 10 games of the week. With that out of the way, lets get to the picks. All betting lines from DraftKings https://www.gamedaywashington.com Sportsbook. Odds/lines subject to change. T&Cs apply. See draftkings.com/sportsbook for detailsNorth Carolina @ Minnesota (+2)Not only does this game pit two fairly even P4 teams against each other in non-conference, UNC's odd QB situation adds to the watchability. Texas A&M transfer Max Johnson joined the competition to take over for Drake Maye in Chapel Hill. Connor Harrell is back after starting UNC's bowl game last year. The team did not name a starting QB, but will use both in this game. The Gophers have been defensively strong under P.J. Fleck, which likely pairs well with an unclear QB situation. New Hampshire QB Max Brosmer will start for Minnesota behind a veteran offensive line. Fleck likes to run the ball. With an experienced line and a deep stable of backs, I like their ability to control the game more than they did a year ago when Maye carved them up. I think UW can force multiple turnovers in this one, and win comfortably, albeit maybe not by a margin as big as the spread. Washington 34 – Weber State 17
